Your Clarity environment has been updated.  What's next?  To ensure a healthy environment post upgrade, there are a few activities you will need to complete within the environment.  Please see the steps below to ensure the best upgrade experience. Rego Support does not include consultative services to validate all of the processes and capabilities within the Clarity upgrade on a weekend. On a weekend, if there is P1 outage related to Clarity being completely down and inaccessible to all users, a P1 ticket may be submitted to received emergency weekend support for the full outage to bring the environment back online. The following steps are intended to be completed by an experienced Clarity admin or Rego Consultant.

Jobs to complete:

 

  1. Click Clarity Classic if you start in the New UX

  2. Navigate to Home -> Reports and Jobs

Click into the job then click Submit at the bottom of the page

Go to Jobs dropdown at the top of the page and go to Logs

Refresh until you see the Load Data Warehouse Access Rights job move to Completed

Go to the Jobs drop-down and select Available Jobs

Filter for Load Data Warehouse

Click into the job

...

Check the Full Load box

...

Click Submit

Go to Jobs drop-down at the top of the page and go to Logs

Refresh until you see the Load Data Warehouse job move to Completed

  1. Go to the Jobs drop-down and select Available Jobs

Customers Using the PMO Accelerator:

Rego will not roll back an environment for changes caused by updating the PMO Accelerator. Please pay special attention to step 5 below.

  1. Navigate to Administration -> Content Add-Ins

  2. Click on Accelerator: Program Management Office

  3. Click on the Items tab

  4. Change the Status to Upgrade Ready and click Filter

  5. Validate each item that is Upgrade Ready to determine if you will move forward with the install. Any customizations to items that are installed through the PMO Accelerator will be lost. In particular, this can revert Portlets to there Out of the Box functionality or remove any custom Views. We will not roll back an environment to recover any functionality that is lost. Make sure to back up any custom items before moving forward. In the future, make sure to save customizations to copies of the Portlets/Views so that they don’t revert back with future PMO Accelerator content upgrades.

  6. Check the boxes and click Install for any items that have been validated and are ready to be updated.
